RF IDeas’ pcProx Enroll card readers are designed for customers seeking to leverage their existing card system for applications beyond building access. These readers are engineered and designed to work with nearly all proximity and contactless smart card technologies. The 13.56 MHz model is compatible with most contactless smart cards and the 125 kHz proximity model provides error-free identification for over 300 million physical access cards in use worldwide.
Featuring plug-and-play functionality, no required software, and embedded configurable flash memory, these readers are ready to integrate with nearly all operating systems, applications, and embedded controllers.
The pcProx 82 Series reader integrates into your software or hardware product through the use of the RF IDeas Universal Software Developer’s Kit (SDK). In contrast to the Enroll readers, the 82 Series use a callable DLL or other direct integration methods rather than keystroking (emulating a keyboard device). These low-cost readers deliver the card ID in a format that applications recognize, offering nearly limitless possibilities for user identification and authentication.

pcProx® Playback
Overview
pcProx 13.56 MHz products meet a variety of needs in multiple situations. These products leverage current HID iClass and NXP MIFARE badge investments and existing control systems while expanding technologies and applications with a single badge solution.
The pcProx Playback interfaces contactless cards to existing applications and systems without the need to change or update these systems. There is no need to deploy software. The plug-and-play pcProx Playback reader delivers user data from the contactless card to the desired application or machine. Data may be written to the card using the pcProx Writer. In many cases, the Playback reader can be configured to read data already on the card.
The reader is instantaneously configurable, allowing users to change the location being read on the contactless card. There is no need for pilot tests, training, software updates, technical support, licenses, or the hassle of incompatibilities since no software is deployed. This multi-application reader delivers strong benefits to the user: easy plug-and-play, contactless operation, and cost savings.

pcProx® Writer The pcProx 13.56 MHz product line meets a variety of needs in multiple situations. The products leverage current badge investments and existing control systems while expanding technologies and applications with a single badge solution.
The pcProx Writer easily plugs into a computer and offers the user the ability to write to contactless cards via the included software (pcProx Card Manager) or with the optional Software Developer Kit (SDK). The pcProx Writer enables a variety of applications.

pcSwipe™ Enroll
Overview
The pcSwipe intelligent magnetic stripe card reader is a cost-effective and efficient solution for customers wanting to leverage their existing base of magnetic stripe card-carrying personnel.
The pcSwipe reader is compatible with the billions of magnetic stripe cards in circulation worldwide. As with all RF IDeas products, pcSwipe has been designed to meet the identification and security needs of customers in many different applications and environments (see examples below). In addition to solid construction and numerous flush mounting options, key features include bi-directional swiping capability and fast swipe speeds for maximum usability.
Free software allows customers to configure their pcSwipe as needed. Options include the ability to read data from any data track locations on the card and custom programmability, allowing for keystrokes to be added before and after the card’s data. The plug-n-play functionality of the pcSwipe makes it an easy addition to your network, seamlessly integrating with existing infrastructure.
The pcSwipe can be used as a standalone system, or can be integrated with other software applications using the optional Software Developer Kit (SDK).
